Downtown Vancouver, the best area to stay in Vancouver


In Downtown Vancouver you will find some of the most interesting places to visit in the city. The surrounding area has a wide variety of accommodation, restaurants and shops. The area is very well connected with public transport. It is an area where office buildings abound. The area is quiet, but with entertainment venues, well connected and with hotels of all categories, although 4 and 5 star accommodation abounds.

West End is a neighborhood in Vancouver that is located next to Stanley Park and the YaleTown and Coal Harbor district.

In this area you will find English Bay Beach, one of the essential places to see in Vancouver, especially in summer.

3. South Vancouver, a cheaper alternative where to stay in Vancouver


South Vancouver is known for being a residential area and home to some of the oldest and most prestigious neighborhoods in the city. Being a little further from Downtown it is possible to stay for less money than in the center.

Some of the interesting places to visit in South Vancouver are the VanDusen Gardens, the museums that document the history of the Jewish community in British Columbia, and the Fraser River Park.

4. North Vancouver


North Vancouver is another of the best areas to stay in Vancouver.

It is a residential neighborhood that is characterized by being the home of upper-middle-class families, with luxury houses and mansions.

Points of interest in North Vancouver include the Capilano Suspension Bridge, Grouse Mountain Ski Hill, and other places to engage in activities such as hiking, fishing, and biking.

Although it is an area very far from the city center, it is a good option to be close to the natural landscapes of Vancouver.
