1. Chambord Castle

2. Sully-sur-Loire Castle

3. Chenonceau Castle

4. Langeais Castle

6. Saumur Castle


Saumur Castle is a medieval castle that was originally built in the 10th century, making it one of the oldest castles in the Loire Valley. In the 12th and 13th centuries the castle was considerably expanded until it became what you can see today. Throughout its history it has had some damage due to wars, but it was quickly renovated, keeping the castle in very good condition. 7. Azay-le-Rideau Castle

10. Ussé Castle
